Warm Up
Red light/ Green light.
Coaches can lead, and/or choose to let one child lead at a time, and choose from different movements:
-jog
-skip
-shuffle (right/left)
-backpedal
-bunny hop
-hop on one leg
-walk on heels/walk on toes
-lunge
Skill
Take 5-7 minutes to go over the skill of air squat.
Kids should mostly be proficient in: -foot placement
-chest up at bottom of squat
-depth of squat
-keeping knees out (not letting knees cave in)
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
Teams of 2
7:00 AMRAP (can adjust time, based on class time remaining)
7 burpees
7 squats
7 jumping jacks
Game
Chinese tag (we’re used to staying in one color on the turf, or playing outside)
