Peninsula CrossFit – Kids Class
mega leap frog. Set up 6 boxes about 2 feet apart. Set up a cone approx. 50 yards from the last box. Kids will line up, jump across the boxes, down to the cone, then run back and get back in line. Let them run through this for about 5 minutes.
Skill: box jumps. Make groups of 3. Let them take turns practicing box jumps for 5-6 minutes. Remind them to jump and land with both feet at the same time, using their arms to help create momentum.
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
Teams of 3.
AMRAP 7 minutes.
Set the boxes along a line. Set up a cone 10 yards out. Each team member will perform 2 boxes, then one person will push the box to the cone. Repeat this back and forth AMRAP. (They can alternate who pushes the box each time.)
