Proudest accomplishment: Anytime I can’t stand up after a workout because it means I pushed myself beyond my comfort zone!
Advice for someone just starting CrossFit: Just do it! There’s no need to be intimidated because the members and coaches are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met! Also, be open to trying new things and willing to learn- there’s always going to be something to work on or try to improve.
Goals for this year: Continue to show up, work hard and have fun!!
What we have to add about this athlete: Olivia probably takes the award for fastest improvements. She came in with a great aerobic base, being a soccer player. She has added onto that a proficiency in Olympic lifting and strong gymnastics skills (multiple chest to bar pullups!). We love her, ‘put your head down and work’ mentality. Her excitement for new challenges will continue to progress her beyond even what she can imagine. She has grown in confidence in the past year which spills over into every area of her life.
