Peninsula CrossFit – Kids Class
Wheelbarrow races. Partner kids up according to size, switch partners around if necessary. Run through races for 5-6 minutes.
Cartwheels. This skill is done in preparation for handstand holds. It will help kids get more comfortable kicking onto their hands and being upside down. Work for about 10 minutes.
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
Relay races. Divide kids into 4-5 teams. The race will be:
5 yards cartwheels
5 yards bear crawls
5 yards broad jumps
Have kids rotate through for 5-6 minutes
More wheelbarrow races or toilet tag.
